Buda has 14 conventional apartment communities inside city limits. 12 of them publish a rent we check every day; the other 2 are income qualified at every unit and publish none, so we say so instead of guessing. The aggregators count South Austin as Buda to look bigger. We show them too, and every card says which city it is actually in. Every price on this site carries the day we checked it.
14 communities in Buda, plus 30 in South Austin, all within 6 miles.
We spread the free weeks over 12 months: the lease this offer names, or a year when it names none. The crossed out rent is what the office quotes before the special.

Yes. The communities pay locators a referral fee when you lease, so our help costs you nothing, and the price you pay is the same either way. We are local, licensed in Texas, and we work from our own daily pricing data, not ads.

The old part of Buda and the I-35 frontage that grew up next to it. Main Street still reads like the small town it was, with the historic storefronts, the Stagecoach Park trailhead and the Friday night football that shuts the whole place down. A few minutes east sits the retail node around Cabela's and the outlet stores, which is where most of the everyday errands actually happen. Renting here means the shortest hop to the interstate in town and a real walkable core, in a mix of older garden buildings and newer infill.
South of the old town along FM 2001, where most of Buda's new apartment construction has landed. These are the recent buildings with the pools and the dog parks, priced like it, on the side of town pointed at the Sunfield build-out and the Hays CISD schools that came with it. The tradeoff is the one every growth corridor has: you drive for everything, and FM 2001 gets busy at the school bell. What you get back is newer square footage than the core has, and a straight shot to I-35 for the Austin commute.
