Search Buda apartments anywhere else and you will be told there are hundreds. There are not. Buda is a small town with a small number of conventional apartment communities in it, and this page counts them out so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
A national listings site sells advertising, so its incentive is a long list. It gets one by widening the map: Kyle sits four miles south, Creedmoor eight miles east, and South Austin runs right up to the county line. Pull those in and Buda has hundreds of apartments. Walk the city limits and it has 14.
Neither number is a lie exactly. They answer different questions. Ours answers the one a person moving to Buda is actually asking.
The Huntington at Buda and Creekside Villas. Rents there are set by program limits and the communities publish nothing we can check, so they are not listed rather than listed with a guess. Ask us and we will call them for you.
That leaves 12 on the site, and 12 of them carry a rent from our daily price check, banked November 7, 2026. Where a community publishes nothing we say so on its card rather than filling the gap with an estimate.
Every one of them, every day. A site tracking forty thousand units samples. At this size there is nothing to sample: the whole market gets read.
A median that means something. The median starting rent here is $1,199, and it is a median of the actual population rather than of whoever paid to be listed.
A shortlist that is a shortlist. Three or four names with reasons, not ninety cards to swipe through.
Sometimes it will not. Your budget lands under everything here, or you need four bedrooms, or you want to be walking distance from something Buda does not have. Pretending otherwise to keep you on the site would waste your week.
Kyle is four miles south with more inventory and slightly lower rents. Our Buda against Kyle page sets the two side by side, and Buda against Austin does the same with the city, drive time included. Both are measured, neither is a guess.
Publish a rent we did not read. Every price on this site shows the date we read it, and when a community stops publishing, the card says the reading is old rather than quietly showing last month's number with today's date on it. That is the whole reason to keep the list this short.
How we get our data sets out the ladder in full, and the price log is the public record of every move we have recorded.
Tell us the budget, the beds and the date. You get a shortlist back with reasons, from someone who has walked them. Free to you.
